In order to streamline and strengthen the sales side and the service unit, we have implemented some changes in these areas from June 1:
New service technician in the service unit is Danijel Kuljanin, Sollentuna. Danijel has a long background in the field of electricity and automation and comes most recently from a multi-year employment with Assa Abloy where he worked with door closers, among other things. At Kamic, he will mainly work with service on UPS facilities and emergency lighting systems in the Stockholm region.
The new sales leader for the Stockholm and Norrland regions is Mattias Voltaire. Mattias is a well-known face in our sales side and will be responsible for the daily sales work in both wholesale and project sales in the regions.
Our new sales leader for the southern, western and middle districts is Daniel Dangrell. Just like Mattias, Daniel has extensive experience in the sales area with us from before. He will, on his districts, handle questions about sales within both the wholesale and project side.
New project sales representative in the southern district is Joakim Silfver. He has previously worked as a back office with orders, quotes and projects at our sales office in Malmö, but is now switching to working on the "outside" with outreach sales instead.
New Back Office, and who takes over from Joakim Silfver in district south, is Sara Knifsund. She will now handle product questions, orders and quotes as part of her daily duties.
Contact information for our new and old employees can be found under "Contact>"
A type of fire protection that is now starting to gain more market share is wireless fire alarms. In Sweden, the wired fire alarms still make up a clear majority of sales, but interest is now growing in the wireless variants. Security today is very high and there is no longer as much difference in total cost compared to a wired system. A modern wireless fire alarm also has a significantly faster installation time than the wired variants, which is a big advantage.
Since the start in the fall of 1983, KAMIC has grown from a small company to part of a large group. Many years have passed and a lot of water has flown under the bridges - the workforce has increased by hundreds of percent, turnover as well. KAMIC has worked its way up to become a respected name in the industry. We are now celebrating 40 years as a company where commitment and development continue unabated.
The development of the range of luminaires with so-called built-in light flexibility continues. Right now you will find several new luminaires in the outdoor range where you can adjust the color temperature between warm or cool white light with a switch function, directly in the luminaire. A welcome solution when you, for example, want to test light in different areas or mounting locations.
We continue to work on strengthening within the various business areas. Newly hired buyer from March 13 is Linnea Johansson, Hammarö. Linnea, who has a degree in economics and law, comes from a similar role at Rydahls Bromsbandfabrik in Karlstad, where she worked for the past seven years.
Let's introduce some new (and old) faces on the Kamic deck that will now further strengthen our sales team. From left: Viktor Wikstrand, who from 1 February will take up a position as a new salesperson at the Stockholm office and will be responsible for the southern part of the district as well as Östergötland.
The organization Belysningsbranschen and the working group Safety through Emergency Lighting (FSN) have on several occasions carried out studies on how the situation looks in public buildings when it comes to emergency lighting. The studies have been about looking more closely at whether the emergency lighting works and whether the supervision of property owners and authorities has been satisfactory. The results of the surveys have been disappointing. (3 minutes reading).

More and more people are nowlooking for luminaires with so-called built-in light flexibility. This is about luminaires where you decide most things yourself and can adjust, for example, color temperature, light flow or diffusion angle directly in the luminaire. Welcome to take part of the exciting multi-luminaries of the future, or as we prefer to call them – luminaires with infinite lighting flexibility.
